Country Store Assistant
POSITION TITLE: Country Store Assistant
Position will sort, price and stock inventory throughout the store; Operate cash register and assist with opening and closing procedures to include safety and securing the building; Assist with reconciliation of cash receipts and close of business; may assist with donation pickups; maintain positive interactions and relationships with customers; and various duties associated with operating a thrift store. Responsible for keeping the store and storage areas neat, clean and safe. Must be able to push, pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Experience: Minimum - High School Diploma. Requires two (2) years experience in dealing with the public and retail operations. Strong customer service skills. Able to travel to various companies/locations to get donations. Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Extensive retail experience a plus.
