The Jaycees cottage opened on the BGHNC campus in 1962. Through the years, the Jaycees have invited residents of their cottage to help with their annual Haunted House and other events throughout the state. Every year, they host the residents at their statewide Christmas party at the Jaycee Headquarters in Asheboro. They also provide on-campus activities for their residents.

North Carolina Junior Chamber is the premier organization providing opportunities for young adults ages 21- 40 years old to participate in activities encouraging professional and personal growth resulting in effective leadership that contributes to the local, national and global community.
