Carolyn’s Kaleidoscope Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is nationally accredited through the National Children’s Alliance and as a part of Children’s Advocacy Centers of North Carolina to serve child victims in rural southeastern North Carolina including Columbus, Bladen and surrounding counties as a courtesy. A program of Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina, the CAC team meets with child victims and non-offending caregivers to assist in the investigations of allegations of sexual and physical abuse, and to increase prosecution of offenders. The CAC team works with multiple agencies throughout Bladen and Columbus counties to assess victims, provide post assessment services and assist the department of social services and law enforcement, enabling victims to find safety and cope with the negative emotions.

Our Mission The mission of Carolyn’s Kaleidoscope Children’s Advocacy Center and the associated Multidisciplinary Team is to address and reduce trauma for victims of sexual and physical abuse and their non-offending caregivers by providing a centralized, safe, and child-friendly environment to conduct investigation and intervention services. These provided services are designed to meet the physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral needs of victims of child abuse and their non-offending caregivers.

Our Vision The vision of Carolyn’s Kaleidoscope Children’s Advocacy Center and the associated Multidisciplinary Team is to become a state leader in community collaboration; providing an environment of care that promotes health, healing, and hope for victims of child abuse and their non-offending caregivers.
