Horses for Sale

Get Involved

Here at B&GH we offer a variety of horses for sale from young project horses to finished show horses. We sell horses owned by B&GH as well as consigning for others. Our mission in selling horses is to match each horse with the perfect partner so that they have a successful career ahead of them. Buyers will receive up to two free training sessions onsite before the horse leaves the property. In most cases, a short trial will be offered, but may vary for each horse.

All horses stay current on vaccines (EWT + westnile + Rabies + Rhino Flu) and current coggins all performed by our vet. Horses are dewormed as necessary and are on a 6 week farrier schedule, trimmed or shod. All money earned from horse sales are 100% utilized by our Equine Program.

SOLD - BOBBYES DREAM CATCHER AKA "CRASH"

2009 ApHC red dun gelding. Trained as a 3 year old and ridden by a youth for many years as a trail horse, Crash was donated to us by a former 4H student who decided to donate him when she went off to college. Here we have continued his training to advanced stages where he can perform lead changes, spins, lateral movements, slide to a stop, and backing all on a soft rein. He has excelled in open ranch shows and he dominates trail challenges and obstacle course confidently. Price $3500.

SOLD - JUSTA BETSY KID AKA "REGINA"

2012 AQHA grey mare. HYPP N/H. Regina came to B&GH as a 4-year-old with a foal by her side from the Jean Jones farm out of Clayton, NC. Since her arrival she has learned ground manners and ground exercises that have prepared her to start under saddle. She will also stand quietly tied, to be saddled, and for the farrier. Standing at 15hh she has excellent confirmation and is quick on her feet much like a cow bred horse. Training will continue until sold. Price $1200

SOLD - MISS VALETTA SOLIS AKA "VALETTA"

2015 AQHA sorrel mare. HYPP N/H. Valetta came to B&GH as a 2 year old from the Jean Jones farm with very little handling. She has now been socialized and halter broke enough to lead and hold for the vet. Now that she's accustomed to people, she is very in your pocket and will always be the first to meet you at the gate. She really enjoys the attention and will make a great project horse for an experienced person. Should mature around 15.2hh.
