Boys and Girls Homes of North Carolina has added two new toll free numbers to their previously existing toll free number to make things easier for Department of Social Services placement workers.
“We know how critical it is for our DSS partners to be able to find the right placement for youth who come into their care quickly,” said Chief Program Officer Donna Yalch. “We wanted to be responsive to that and having these three toll free numbers that connect directly to the right service at the right time.”
Each number connects directly to the specific services provided.
The Harbor at the Lake Emergency Shelter for youth ages 10 – 17 in DSS custody can be reached at 866-318-1086. The placements are limited to 60 days as defined by emergency placement requirements.
For traditional residential placement of youth on the Lake Waccamaw campus the number is 886-318-1080.
For foster care placements the number is 877-211-5322.
