Boys & Girls Homes is inviting area residents to kick off your holiday season with us! Combining a holiday music showcase with hundreds of Nativities will be the focus of The Thankful Christmas Concert & Nativity Show 2-5 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the Chapel and Fellowship Hall at Boys & Girls Homes this winter.
Starting at 2 p.m., visitors can browse and buy Nativity treasures from the Boys & Girls Homes Nativity collection just in time for the Christmas decorating and gift season. Then at 3 p.m. our concert with regional musicians begins in the Chapel. You will hear Christmas and holiday tunes from the Brunswick Brass Choir, the Burdette Duo, Jamie Faulk on piano and an ensemble of the Southeastern Oratorio Society. Then we will finish out the concert singing some carols of the season together.
After the concert, you can revisit the Nativity Hall downstairs in the Fellowship Hall, and enjoy refreshments.
All donations at the concert will benefit the more than 130 children in care through Boys & Girls Homes.
