The children we serve are incredibly resilient, and our Farm and its animals aid in their therapy.

A growing equine therapy program is available to BGHNC youth and area residents who wish to learn about the care, and keeping of horses. Our Equine Therapy and Events Coordinator Amanda Thompson is certified in the Eagala Model of professional standards for incorporating horses into mental health treatment. The Benton/BTS Arena & Exhibition Center features:

What we do

  • Accept donations in various forms whether it be livestock, hay, feed, funding, tack and much more.
  • Offer volunteer opportunities
  • Offer equine therapy for our campus youth and area residents with an instructor trained in the Eagala Model..
  • Offer a variety of boarding opportunities for all equines no matter the discipline. Contact BGHNC for pricing.
  • Host clinics, shows, rodeos, weddings, and other events.
